Hi, I'm Austin Mullin, a Visual and Motion Designer based in Philadelphia. Born and raised here, I started my career helping tech and marketing startups strengthen their online presence and build digital systems that elevate both platforms and brands. Over time, I've had the chance to collaborate with businesses in e-commerce, real estate, and public health, among other industries.
I like to call myself a "V-shaped designer" because I specialize in two closely related areas: visual design and motion design. These skills complement each other and are key to improving the user experience—visual design allows me to build efficient and complex design systems, while motion design helps me bring interfaces to life with emotion and interactivity.
My journey started at Drexel University, where I studied Media Management. It was here that I first discovered user experience design through a mix of electives and extracurriculars. Those experiences helped me shift from a traditional media focus to creating user-centered solutions that blend aesthetics with functionality.
I’ve had the privilege of working with startups, corporations, and everything in between—each experience has refined my skills and fueled my passion for excellence.
Spoiler alert: They all say the same thing—I get stuff done. No egos. No nonsense. Just results.
You’re here for a reason. Let’s make something great, or at least something better than your competitors.
